Vajrasattva Retreat

We spend all our time and energy trying to avoid problems by making changes to our external world. However, our unhappiness and difficulties are not caused by the external world. Our difficulties are the result of negative karma we have created in the past through our own harmful actions.

By relying upon Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification, we can free ourselves from all our negative karma. As a result of our practice, our mind will become pure, obstacles to our spiritual development will be removed and our external conditions will improve.

This short retreat is an opportunity to learn how to purify negative karma. Each session consists of prayers, some guided meditation, some silent meditation, and recitation of Vajrasattva’s mantra. The Friday evening session is an introduction to the practice.

This retreat is open to Centre members.
