Gen Kelsang Delek is the Resident Teacher of KMC Fraser Valley. She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for 30 years, teaching meditation in Canada, the UK and Japan. She is loved by her students for her kindness, sincere example, and the clarity of her teachings.

Gen Delek teaches Tuesdays in Abbotsford, Wednesdays in South Surrey, Thursday mornings in Fort Langley  and regular weekend courses and events. She also teaches the Foundation Program and Teacher Training Program.

Jill Arseneau has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years.  As a mother of two boys, wife, and elementary school teacher, her teachings are practical, real-to-life and full of wisdom and lightness.


 Sandy Darrell has many years of teaching experience and successfully completed a six month intensive teacher training program in the UK training as a Kadampa teacher. She is a gentle compassionate teacher whose wisdom brings her teachings to life.


Gloria Borrows has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She has a kind, patient heart that shines through in her clear, inspiring teachings.

Gloria teaches Tuesday morning classes at the Centre and occasional weekend classes in Mission.

Todd Arseneau is a fun, down to earth teacher at KMC Fraser Valley. His teachings are earnest,  warm and humble – a joy to receive!

Kelly McCallum is a compassionate and hardworking teacher.  For several years she offered classes for School District #42 and at the CEED centre in Maple Ridge.

Kelly is a Chaplain with BC Corrections.  She offers meditation and/or Kadampa Buddhist study programs for inmates at North Fraser Pretrial Centre, Surrey Pretrial Services Centre, Fraser Regional Correctional Centre and in Correctional Services of Canada at Mission Medium Institution.

Kelsang Tsalden is a western Buddhist nun and a member of the Teacher Training Program.  She has taught in many venues including Bodhichitta Centre in Victoria, Duncan, Langford and James Bay.   Tsalden draws from both her meditation and life experiences to make her teaching clear, meaningful and practical.

Bonnie Fulford  has been studying Dharma for many years at KMC Fraser Valley.   Bonnie’s teachings show her enthusiasm for practically using the teachings of Buddha to solve our daily problems.

Bonnie teaches occasional Saturday courses at the Centre.

 Laurel Leaman-Konrad has been studying, meditating and volunteering at Kadampa Meditation Centre for many years. She is an experienced Kadampa teacher and people enjoy her joyful, practical, true-to-life teachings.
