A special day of teachings and meditations with visiting teacher, Gen Kelsang Delek

Village Green Hotel
(Selkirk Room)
4801- 27th Street
Vernon, B.C.

Gen Delek is a Western Buddhist nun who has been teaching meditation for 24 years. She is the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Fraser Valley in Abbotsford. Her weekly teachings are recorded and listened to in Vernon and Salmon Arm every week, and she visits the Okanagan area 2 or 3 times a year to give special courses.

About the course

In this world of so much pain and conflict what can we do to help? How can we make positive change? Gen Delek will explain practical and effective methods that we can practice right now to bring real benefit to our family, our friends, and to our troubled world.

The inspiration for this course is the Bodhisattva’s way of life. A Bodhisattva trains in the paths of compassion and wisdom, and dedicates their life to serving others. In this course we will learn how to become modern-day Bodhisattvas living a life of great joy, hope and altruism, with the power to help others in the most appropriate and beneficial ways.
