Lamrim retreat

Following the meditations in the New Meditation Handbook, this retreat is an opportunity to meditate step by step through the whole lamrim, or Stages of the Path to Enlightenment.
The retreat will be in 4 sessions a day. Each session will begin with a short explanation of the meditation by Gen Delek, and the chanted Prayers for Meditation. Then Gen Delek will read and guide the meditation for that session. We will have 20 – 30 minutes to meditate.
It is recommended that participants have the book The New Meditation Handbook to get the most out of this lightly guided retreat. We will follow the Suggested Retreat Schedule on page 157 outlined here:

Sessions 21-24: Tranquil Abiding

Sessions 25-27: Superior seeing, meditation on emptiness
