The Foundation Program
September 2018 enrolment
Starting Monday, Sept 10*, 6:30pm in Abbotsford and Thursday, Sept 20, 5:45pm in Vernon we are beginning a new section of the book How to Understand the Mind.
This section begins with the chapters on ‘wrong awarenesses’ and ‘valid cognizers’ which explain the psychology behind meditation and how we make spiritual progress. The final chapter, ‘Meditation’, gives us the opportunity to study and meditate on 14 essential lamrim meditations.
If you would like to try this program, you are welcome to attend a free taster session on Monday, September 10*, 6:30pm in Abbotsford, or Thursday, 20 September, 5:45pm in Vernon.
* Please note: the free taster session in Abbotsford will now be on Monday 17. We are having a community gathering, pot luck, and sharing of inspiration from the Summer Festival on Monday 10 – to which everyone is welcome !
